Competence Development (ComDev) Our objective is “Facilitating competence development in SMEs both regionally and globally through open network collaborations”. Some of the key issues discussed during the group meetings in Florence were:
- Networking and open sourcing innovation tools
- Combining global thinking with local learning processes
- Innovation through open learning processes”
- Regional perspective in the context of innovation systems, and SMEs involvement
The action plan includes:
- Development of a glossary
- Inventory of relevant tools
- Workshop facilitating competence development in SMEs with accompanying collaborative learning environment (March 2004, Germany)
- Contribute to increase euCluster.net functionalities (open source software)
- Matching tool for competence based cooperation within euCluster.net
